What does Builder Intelligence actually do?
We bring builder-level thinking into the design phase. That means aligning budget, buildability and tender strategy before key decisions are locked in — so your project reaches construction with fewer surprises and less compromise.
When is the best time to engage you?
The earlier the better. The most value comes from being involved during concept and design, when decisions are still inexpensive to change. That said, we also help projects that are already at tender or over budget through our Realignment service.
Who do you work with?
We work alongside homeowners, architects and developers. We act as the experienced construction voice beside you and your design team — not as a replacement for your architect or builder.
Budget & cost
My project is over budget. Is it too late to get help?
No. Even at tender stage there are usually meaningful options to realign cost, scope and buildability. The key is understanding exactly what is driving the gap before making decisions. Our Realignment service is built for exactly this situation.
Will working with you save me money?
The goal is to make your money go further. By catching cost and buildability issues early — and avoiding the expensive redesign loop that often follows tender — we help protect both your budget and the design you set out to build.
How accurate is early cost benchmarking?
Benchmarking measures your design against current market pricing to give a realistic, defensible budget position. It is not a fixed quote, but it provides a far more reliable reference than untested early estimates.

Do you replace my architect or builder?
No. We complement them. We give your design team a construction-literate partner and help you reach a clean, comparable tender — protecting the relationship between design and construction rather than disrupting it.
What is the difference between your services?
Pre-Design and Foundation test feasibility early. Benchmark measures the design against real pricing. Tender Support structures the path to market. Realignment recovers a project that has drifted beyond budget. Each meets a project at a different stage.
