Feasibility – Direction
A directional read before you invest in detailed drawings
Feasibility – Direction is the first step in the Builder Intelligence process: a plain-language read on whether your concept is worth pursuing, and a clear direction brief for your designer — before you invest in detailed drawings or costings. It works from your concept and your budget intentions, before any drawings exist, so the direction is confirmed before you spend on detailed design. An on-site Site Visit can be added — particularly valuable on renovations and extensions, where the existing building carries the risk.

What's included
Feasibility – Direction gives you an experienced read on your project before the design and consultant spend begins — so the money that follows is aimed in the right direction.
What you receive
Written Feasibility Read
A short, directional assessment of whether your concept is achievable and worth pursuing, with a clear recommendation on whether, and how, to proceed.
Direction Brief for Your Designer
A qualitative brief capturing your priorities, the cost drivers to design around and the buildability points to keep in view, ready to hand to your designer at the point of appointment.
Add a Site Visit, or upgrade to Feasibility – Detailed
An on-site Site Visit can be folded into the Read for an additional $450 — particularly valuable on renovations and extensions. Once you can share quantified parameters, Feasibility – Detailed adds a costed budget range and ranked priorities for a further $450.
What it is not
So Feasibility – Direction is clear from the outset:
- It is not a costed report — the written Read contains no dollar figures. For a costed budget range, that is Feasibility – Detailed; for a cost position on drawings, Foundation.
- It is not a building, structural or condition inspection.
- It is not design or engineering advice.
